This Wednesday, May 17, marks, once again, World Internet Day, approved by the United Nations as World Telecommunications and Information Society Day.
Internet Day is an event celebrated in Mexico, Peru, Chile, Paraguay, Argentina, Spain, Colombia, Uruguay, Ecuador, Bolivia and Venezuela and in some other places around the world on May 17, promoted by the Internet Users Association and the Internet Society, respectively. It was celebrated for the first time on October 25, 2005.
